The Project Manager at verynice reports directly to the Managing Director and Studio Manager in order to assist in the coordination and management of projects, and to lead select administrative tasks such as project scheduling, outsourcing, and account management. This is a full-time position, based in verynice's Downtown Los Angeles headquarters.
Role & Responsibilities
Report to the Studio Manager in order to develop and maintain overall project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Submit weekly reports reviewed and approved by the Managing Director.
Work with the Managing Director to ensure the project deliverables and schedule will align with the initial vision of the client relationship.
Maintain clear communication between clients and internal teams, and collaborate with the Studio Manager and Managing Director to develop innovative methods for streamlining workflow and project management tools (including Active Collab, Slack, and Google Drive).
Manage client expectations and mitigate project risk by openly communicating project status, task prioritization and project deadlines with internal and external teams.
Ensure that project deliverables are of the highest quality.
Ensure deliverables are on-time or early, budgets are being met, and client satisfaction is high.
Collaborate with the Managing Director to flag any additional opportunities for engagement and collaboration beyond the initial anticipated scope of work.
Assist the Managing Director in business development efforts, including lead generation and proposal writing.
2-3+ years project management experience in a creative environment. Experience in working with non-profit and startup clientele, or in small company environments. Must be detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. Great presentation skills are necessary. Must be a quick thinker, and have a willingness to develop strong friendships with our amazing clients. Must enjoy dad jokes, puns, GIFs, socializing with your teammates, checking your email early and often.
